The SV405CC is a cooled color astronomy camera designed for deep sky astrophotography. It features a back-illuminated IMX294 CMOS sensor with a 4/3 format and 4144x2822 (11.7 megapixel) resolution, capable of capturing fine details in astronomical objects.

Equipped with a two-stage TEC cooling system, the SV405CC can lower the sensor temperature up to 30°C below ambient, significantly reducing dark current and sensor noise even during extended exposures. The exceptional low-light performance of an SNR1s of 0.14 lx is achieved through the large-size optical system and expanded 4.63μm pixel area.

The camera supports a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, macOS, Chrome OS, and Raspberry Pi, by running the AstroDMx Capture software. For Windows users, it is also compatible with other astrophotography software like SharpCap, N.I.N.A., and TheSkyX through the ASCOM platform.
